What's going on in Brazil?
For the 20th anniversary of the movie 'Double
Trouble', we went to find out!
'Double Trouble' (you
can see the opening scene of the movie on
the photo on the left) was filmed in Rio
de Janeiro, Brazil.
Terence and Bud arrive
at the airport in Rio. The VIP sign on the
windows has been placed there especially
for the film.
The airport in this
scene is Rio's domestic airport 'Santos
Dumont'.
...
At the time of the Coimbra's
arrival, this was the only airport in Rio.
Now it is used for domestic flights.
'Santos Dumont' is located
in downtown Rio de Janeiro. International
flights actually use 'Galeão Airport'.
