| Synopsis |
| Dorian
Gray, having promised his soul in
order to live a life of perpetual
youth, must try to reconcile himself
to the bodily decay and dissipation
that are recorded in his portrait.
He tries to watch impassively as
he brings misery and death to those
who love him, but the picture is
watching him and confronts Dorian
with the reflection of his fall from
grace, the silent bearer of what
is in effect a devastating moral
judgment. |
