| Synopsis |
| A night watchman is seriously injured during a robbery at Gubbio's post office. The Carabinieri are trying to find out how the thieves deactivated the alarm system and who could have given them the access code to the building. In the meantime, Captain Anceschi and Laura are busy preparing their wedding reception. Anceschi tries to smooth out the quarrels between his and Laura's mother, while Don Matteo is troubled by a letter from the Bishop. |
