| Synopsis |
| A
baking contest brings the most famous
pastry chefs of Italy to Gubbio.
During the contest, one of the promoters
dies, poisoned by a piece of cake
laced with strychnine. Suspicion
falls on the victim's ex-girlfriend,
who is the beneficiary of his multi-million
insurance policy. Thanks to the help
of Don Matteo, Carabinieri discover
that the death of the man was caused
by an "accident": It should
have been one of the contest's chefs
who should have died. And the solution
to the mystery lies inside a secret
