 This
bike is an OSSA 250 AE 73 Enduro from 1973. (Click photos
to enlarge) The Spanish brand 'Ossa' ceased to exist
in 1974. In Germany, there are only 4 or 5 bikes of this
model left, but not in good condition. It must have been
1974 when I saw the film "Watch out, we're mad"
in the movie theater, when I was still a little boy. I loved
the scenes and stunts on the bikes so much that I decided
that one day, I would own this exact bike Terence rides
in the film. I collected photos and press material of this
movie and finally last year (27 years later!), I saw an
ad in the paper with this bike for sale!
I watched all the bike scenes of the movie 15 to 20 times
again and would have never forgiven myself not to buy it.
Luckily, I met an Ossa specialist close to my home town,
and without his technical advice and supply of spare parts,
I wouldn't have been able to restore the bike the way I
did. The restoration took me long hours and lots of work,
because I wanted the bike to look exactly the same as the
one in the movie. The complex original finish was just as
important as the Spanish accessory headlight and the black
number boards. We arranged the radio communication system
