Gubbio - the film location of Don Matteo
This book, published by Alto Chiascio local Tourism System, is a photo guide to Gubbio, the Italian city, which served as the filming location for the TV series 'Don Matteo', starring Terence Hill.
The 64 pages show magnificent photographs of Gubbio's most beautiful medieval buildings, little streets and alleys - and of course images of Terence Hill taken from the set during filming.
The bilingual (Italian and English) publication will be used to represent and promote the city at tourism fairs.
The book presentation took place on December 2, 2006, in Gubbio's city hall and was attended by Terence Hill, Gubbio's Mayor Orfeo Goracci, the chairman of Alto Chiascio local Tourism System and the local Bishop, amongst other guests.
"It's an honor for me to be part of this guide", Terence said at the presentation. "I always wished for a book based on one of my films."
